I just had a little debate with some colleagues in the office. Something like;
A lady colleague is supposed to travel on Sunday, and another colleague now asked her, “are you traveling with your oga?”
Then I responded saying, why do ladies call their husbands oga, and some men call their wife ‘madam’. I said, in my opinion, it sounds so local. How would you walk into a gathering as a lady and introduce your husband as “Goodday, meet my oga”
Surprisingly, almost everybody was in support of introducing your partner to a friend, colleague, stranger as “Oga/Madame” rather than “Husband/Wife”.
So I thought to throw it out here and hear you guys debate this on my timeline.
Thanks, see you in the comments.
