President Trump’s National Security Adviser resigned on Monday, spending less than a month in office. 
According to the Guardian NG, Michael Flynn resigned over controversy with his contacts with the Russian Ambassador. 

In his resignation letter, he revealed he misled the White house on the phone calls he had with the Russian Ambassador in December. 

“Regarding my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador. l have sincerely apologized to the President and the Vice president, and they have accepted my apology ”
